People expect a constant slackening of Hollywood standards, but bear in mind that prior to 1984, there was no PG-13 rating. That meant some eyebrow-raising content made it into PG films in the 1970s. Heck, in 1972, two of the Top 10 highest-grossing pictures in America were rated X (<em>Behind the Green Door</em> and <em>Fritz the Cat</em>).</p><p>Which is all to say that figuring out what things were rated in the Seventies can be rather tough.
