The Type 20 is a Japanese Assault Rifle available in Phantom Forces. It is unlocked at rank 37 or could be purchased using credits. The Howa Type 20 was developed in 2015 as a response to the JGSDF (Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force) looking to replace the aging Type 89. It was submitted for trials and tested against several competitors including the Steyr AUG, H&K HK416, the FN SCAR, and the H&K G36.
