After playing for about five days, I am now an expert in Survivor.io. Kidding. But it has given me a better understanding of the game and how to get through the chapters.. So, today, I’ll be sharing some tips for those who want to get started with this game. If you have not heard of this game, check out my review. Run Only In One Direction Don’t run back and forth. Just run in one direction. Obviously try and pick the direction with less mobs (zombies). Know The Map/ Chapter Each chapter features different mobs. Some have more melee while others have more ranged mobs. With this knowledge, you might want to select weapon skills that’s better suited against certain mobs. For example, you’ll want to select something longer range against those butterflies that creates poison ground when they die. Killing them close to you with melee weapons means you’ll be blocking off your escape path. Boss Clears The mobs When the boss appears, it will clear the mobs just like the bomb item. So, plan it out in such way that the boss will help you clear the mobs. The boss will also clear the elite zombie that gives you lucky drops. So, if you still have one, get them into the screen when the boss appears and make sure it’s within your reach because there will be a fence during boss fight that prevents you from running away. Watch Ads For Extra Gems Takes about 30 seconds but you get some extra gems that you can use to buy chests for better equipment. Go Patrol The rewards are good. You just need to click and then claim 16 hours later. Anything more than 16 hours and the reward no longer increase. The patrol option is on the same screen where you battle (attempt a chapter). Evolve As you progress, remember to Evolve. By evolving, you get extra health, attack and other bonuses, such as getting a skill at the start of the game. Not All Weapons Are Created Equal Some weapons are just better than others. For example, the Lightning Emitter is actually quite good against bosses since there is usually just one target to hit. In any case, once you get the hang of it and if you get lucky enough, you can be AFK (Away From Keyboard) and still win. And that was what I did: Are the tips above? What chapter are you currently on? Do you have any tips or tricks to share?
