Descrição
At Aquasnails, we hand pick our spider wood pieces. Spider Wood has increased in popularity due to its random branching enabling aquarists and aquascapers to use it in a variety of ways in their aquariums and aquascapes. It is often a popular choice when aquascaping aquariums to attach plants to its branches. Spider wood does not typically sink immediately and will need to be weighed down for about a week until it is fully saturated again. The amount of tannins released by spider wood is much less than other driftwood (e.g. Mopani and Malaysian) which is appealing in some cases. It is also quite common that spiderwood develops a white film that does not harm your aquarium inhabitants and might even be eaten by them (e.g. shrimps and snails). This piece (#S0078) weighs 280 grams and has a size of approx. 36 cm x 23 cm x 20 cm.
