Sonic the Hedgehog, often referred to as simply Sonic, is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Mario) of the 2006 flash animation series Super Mario Bros. Z., originally created by Mark Haynes/Alvin Earthworm. He is a vengeful hedgehog seeking revenge on Turbo Mecha Sonic, who killed Sonic's friends back in Mobius. Sonic, alongside Shadow, seeks to recover the Chaos Emeralds from the Mushroom Kingdom where he warps them into for preventing Mecha Sonic to collect them in Mobius, and defeat
