Smoking Snakes is the third song on the Heroes album by Sabaton. It was the first song composed for the album. Joakim composed the song using only a piano (as a limitation for himself) without the help of a computer, then the song was "Sabatonized". It's working title was "Heroes", before the band written any lyrics for it. Until Joakim wrote Night Witches, "Smoking Snakes" was meant to be the opening song on Heroes.
