Baking your first Cookie is very simply "earning a Cookie". This can be achieved by clicking the Cookie. The Cookie Shop is where the player can buy PowerUps. It is also possible to buy Upgrades, but that is not unlocked until later in the game. To open the Cookie Shop, simply click the button in the bottom right corner that says "COOKIE SHOP".
