Careers & Work LPT request - how can I solve this dilemma? submitted 28 minutes ago * (last edited 3 minutes ago) by I do not give my permission for this post to be shared anywhere So, I'm a freelance French translator, and recently started offering a new service. I'm working for 2 companies who are competitors, which doesn't really matter as a translator. However, for this new service I am offering, I can't really work for 2 companies who are competitors at the same time Now, I didn't really realise that until after I sent them both an offer for my new service, and they both said they are interested! One company pays me more and I wish I only offered it to them unless they didn't accept my offer. But I stupidly sent them both an offer at the same time! I kinda wanna retract my offer from the second company who pays me less, but I am still working with them for translation and I also like them so don't want to cause any problems How can I retract the offer without telling them the reason is that I want to offer this service to their competitor instead of them? ☺ ☺ Looking to get as much input as possible. Thanks all for your help! 8 comments source share save hide give award report crosspost hide all child comments
