The Dark Continent Expedition arc (暗黒大陸編, Ankoku Tairiku-hen; "Dark Continent arc" in the Viz translation) is the eighth (officially seventh) story arc of the series, and focuses on the Kakin Empire's decision to expand to the Dark Continent, with an expedition team led by Netero's son, Beyond.
